David Courtney has joined Crosscard to lead the business’s product, sales, and marketing teams as Crosscard scales its card issuing business across Europe following its separation from PPRO Financial at the end of 2019.
David brings significant payments industry experience to the Crosscard business. He was previously General Manager at AIB Merchant Services and was formerly Head of Bank of Ireland’s Credit Card issuing business. He is also a former Chairman of the Visa Ireland Forum where he led the Irish market’s adoption of contactless payments. Before Bank of Ireland David was Head of Sales & Marketing at Aer Lingus.

David will be based in Crosscard’s Munich office.
